By bad habits, people usually mean drinking alcohol and caffeine, smoking, or gambling. These categories are often interrelated. People think that with these habits they can reduce stress. However, nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, and addictions of any kind reduce blood flow and respiration, thereby placing even more stress on the body and mind.
